Teaching Personnel are seeking a reliable and passionate teaching assistant to work on a full time basis at an OFSTED rated "Good" secondary school in Coventry. Teaching assistants play an integral role within the classroom and wider school environment. It can be seen to be a great stepping stone into teaching, providing vital experience within a school setting, having excellent exposure to a range of learning needs, teaching styles and opportunities. Pay Rate: £83-95 (per day, dependent upon qualifications and experiences) Hours: Full Time Location: Coventry, CV2 Start Date: ASAP Person Specification: - Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3) - Previous experience as a TA within a school or educational setting - Experience working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis - Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs - Relevant experience supporting children with special educational needs - Strong behaviour management and any prior pastoral experience is a bonus - Strong communication skills The school are seeking a confident and positive individual to work closely with pupils within the school who are vulnerable, have additional learning needs and those who simply need tailored academic support.
