A charity volunteer day to support a charity or cause you're passionate about through a dedicated day away from work What you’ll do Your key accountabilities will include: Plan and lead process reviews into all areas of the business to identify improvements in their control environment Entity Level Controls (ELC), Critical Spreadsheets and Non-Financial Disclosures (NFD) Testing Programmes Prepare the annual plan for the ELC, Critical Spreadsheets and NFD testing programmes. Deliver the quarterly ELC, Critical Spreadsheets and NFD testing programmes by completing testing and reporting results to management. Quarterly Peer Testing Programme to Assist in testing monthly key finance controls as part of the Quarterly Peer Testing Programme. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners Who you are Your skills and experience will include Experienced (qualified or part qualified) Chartered Accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA) Understanding of finance processes, experience of reviewing and mapping financial processes, controls design and testing essential for this role – for example, gained in a previous internal audit role Effective communication skills both written and verbal Self-starter who possesses the ability and drive to operate independently Comfortable operating outside a defined role remit or profile Everyone’s welcome We are ambitious about the future of retail.
