Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the People Directorate at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. There is an opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic HR Advisor to join the HR Business Partnering team on a fixed term basis for now, whilst we explore shaping the strategic and operational direction of the organisation and make direct impact on our staff and our patients whilst working with senior leadership team on long-term HR priority. Postholders must be able and willing to travel to various sites in Hertfordshire Main duties of the job The HR Advisor will be responsible for the provision of operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management within the Hertfordshire Division and also 2 x corporate areas and across the wider People function in CLCH. You will work with the divisional and Directorate operational teams, Clinical Service Unit managers and staff side representatives to build and maintain positive working relationships; being the "first point of call" for HR queries and for providing the necessary support, support the HR Business Partner in implication of HR initiatives; training and coaching managers on best practice. You will be; Educated to degree level in HR field or equivalent level of experience through working at a HR advisor level. Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) member or working towards. Experience of advising managers on complex HR matters, including employee relations. Evidence of the ability to manage conflict and sensitive situations, acting with tact and diplomacy. Evidence of continued professional development with a focus on employment law.
