As an Instrumentation, Control and Automation Technician in our Operational Technology team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our instrumentation, control, and SCADA systems, which are critical to the safe and efficient running of our sites.
From diagnosing faults to implementing system improvements, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring that our operations are reliable and cutting-edge whilst upholding our values of Service, Integrity, Collaboration, Commitment, Compassion, and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control, and SCADA systems
* Minimise equipment downtime by quickly diagnosing and rectifying faults
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out and keep systems documentation up to date
* Collaborate closely with Operations staff to ensure safe and efficient system operation
* Offer insights and recommendations on plant replacements and system upgrades
* Support the development and implementation of new ICA systems, ensuring consistency across the organisation
* Supervise contractors and apprentices involved in ICA projects
* Provide out-of-hours support and participate in a standby rota to ensure 24/7 operational reliability
What We're Looking For:
* A BTEC Diploma (or equivalent) in a technical subject
* A minimum of two years’ experience in the water or related process industries working with SCADA, control, and instrumentation systems
* Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software
* A flexible, reliable attitude, with a good level of fitness and the ability to work independently
* A full clean UK driving licence
* Experience with telemetry and communication systems
* Training in breathing apparatus and Electricity at Work regulations
