Job Overview You will be responsible for ensuring IT support SLAs are achieved. Working through the companys helpdesk system providing 1 st line support for IT related incidents, troubleshooting and escalating tickets to third-party vendors. Along with ensuring company assets are maintained and updated in compliance with ISO27001 standard Package on offer: 28 days holiday per year (rising with service) including bank holidays Access to Dams employee hub with hundreds of retailer discounts Health cash plan (employer funded) Death in service insurance (employer funded) Employee 'Above and Beyond' awards Free on-site parking Employee wellbeing service Key responsibilities: Collaborate with IT users to maintain an exceptional level of service, monitoring and resolving infrastructure, telephony and hardware issues Work closely with other IT users to execute the IT strategy and roadmap Working through the companys helpdesk system, providing 1st line support, troubleshooting and resolving IT related incidents Communicate with third party vendors, escalating and managing incidents through to resolution Install, replace and maintain the companys hardware and software assets not limited to laptops, mobile phones, printers, barcode scanners Ensuring the company asset list is up to date Use the companys vulnerability monitoring software to ensure company assets (hardware/software) remain patched, AV coverage and software updates applied Ensure physical and digital security and compliance is maintained within company systems and procedures Support with the recovery of major incidents Maintain an overall understanding of the IT network and infrastructure operation and assist in the maintenance of the servers and network infrastructure Experience & Knowledge required Educated to NVQ/A Level Standard in IT or equivalent experience Experience in a first line support role, and use of Helpdesk software Experience of installing PCs, printers, antivirus, Microsoft and other software Experience of troubleshooting general IT issues including PC, email and printers Configuring and supporting latest versions of Windows Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Ability to work under pressure whilst demonstrating a flexible and enthusiastic attitude Service focussed with a confident and approachable manner Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms If you are ready to develop your career in IT and want to learn from experienced professionals, we encourage you to apply.
