Job Description: As the Pipeline Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to third parties wishing to carry out work affecting the pipeline apparatus. This role requires collaboration with the Land Agent to resolve pipeline infringement issues via legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Land Agent in resolving pipeline infringement issues through legal means.
* Collaborate with planning teams to address pipeline diversion issues related to third-party requirements.
* Review and agree third-party works application documents, including RAMs, while seeking internal SME support for issue resolution.
* Ensure all necessary pipeline monitoring and surveillance activities are conducted to maintain pipeline safety, including planning application monitoring, helicopter surveys, linewalking, and annual safety letters.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* HNC qualification in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
* Strong working knowledge of HSG 47 Compliance.
* Previous experience operating within Pipeline Safety Regulations.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in developing proposals around pipeline protection.
* A proven track record of working in a COMAH Environment (Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations).
