The role
The Community Manager will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our existing physical international communities and our expanding social media audiences. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that cultivate meaningful interactions, enhance engagement, and grow the Norton Motorcycles community on an international scale.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to integrate physical community groups with online audiences, fostering a cohesive and engaged global community.
* Content Creation: Produce and curate relevant content that resonates with both local and international audiences, ensuring alignment with the Norton’s brand and values.
* Social Media Management: Manage and grow Norton’s presence on various social media platforms.
* Event Coordination: Organize and manage events that bring together physical and online communities, ensuring seamless integration and engagement.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, influencers, and partners to expand the Norton community network.
* Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on community engagement metrics to inform strategies and demonstrate growth against KPIs.
* Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from community members and collaborate with internal teams to improve products, services, and community experiences.
Personal Specification
* Degree level marketing, communications, or a related field.
* Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Demonstrable experience of nurturing and growing motorcycle specific communities.
* Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
* Multilingual skills are an advantage, though not required.
