Maintenance Assistant (Grounds & Gardens)
Operational Estates are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant – Grounds & Gardens who will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and can be asked to work at any of our sites. Your primary role will be maintaining the grounds and gardens. You will have gained previous experience with grounds and gardens, including the ability to enable you to carry out the basic technical and practical work tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of building services, plant and equipment including the diagnosis and repair of simple electrical and mechanical faults.
You will provide assistance to other maintenance craftsmen so as to enable them to fully carry out their duties.
Annual leave allowance is days up to years service, days between and years service and days over years service plus Bank Holidays (pro rata for part-time staff).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
