About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner. With Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same! You will provide individualised support to each person, engaging them with hobbies and interests to empower individuals to develop skills and independence.

About Us – Castle Douglas & Kirkcudbright
We are a residential service supporting people with mental health issues, physical health, and learning disabilities. As a team, we provide 24/7 support to help individuals live their best lives. Where there is a requirement for sleepover shifts, you will receive, on top of your £12.19 ph, an additional £96 for every sleepover shift you work!
Our Support Practitioner role will include:
* Helping to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests, empowering individuals to develop skills and independence, promoting their overall growth.
* Attending various community groups and accompanying our service users to activities they are passionate about, from taking a trip to the cinema, enjoying a morning swim, or attending local groups or community projects, and accompanying them on holidays and trips away.
* Assisting with personal care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones, both big and small, to create a rewarding and positive environment.
