Role Overview:
As a Specialist Radiographer, you’ll provide high-quality diagnostic radiography, ensuring a customer-focused approach for their patients and service users.
Shift Pattern:
* Full time, 37.5 hours per week
* 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Rotate throughout all areas of the Outpatients department at both Golders Green and Elstree DTC, providing a safe and effective radiology service.
* Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
* Identify and implement improvements as agreed with the line manager.
* Assist with the day-to-day running of the imaging service.
* Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties, ensuring timely delivery of verified radiologist reports.
* Assist with staff orientation and training.
What You’ll Bring:
* HCPC registration.
* Extensive MRI and/or CT experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK.
* DEXA experience desirable.
* High level of understanding of clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI, CT, and Plain Film scanning.
