We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Wolverhampton as a Advanced Body Technician.
Shifts for this role will be Monday to Friday 18:00 to 02:30
As an Advanced Body Technician you will complete vehicle body repairs and modifications. This will include general maintenance activities or repairs following major incidents to ensure the fleet is compliant, roadworthy, safe and reliable to meet operational demands as part of a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
What you'll do;
Complete any work allocated, both planned and unplanned, within the appropriate shift
Use any body diagnostic equipment
Remove and fit wheels in line with Company standards
Provide technical body and coach building knowledge and advice to colleagues and key stakeholders
Work within Company procedures to identify, order and return parts where necessary
Willingness to attend and participate in relevant and appropriate training courses
Deliver ‘on the job' coaching and training to team members less skilled to develop the teams overall capability
Complete all necessary documentation and systems, in line with Company procedures, to ensure that comprehensive and accurate maintenance records are kept
What you will need...
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Body Repair or equivalent
Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience of working in a vehicle maintenance environment.
A Full CAT D PCV licence or willingness to work towards.
