The Home and Garden Ecommerce Writer will be responsible for creating and updating shoppable content across House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping and Country Living. ABOUT THE ROLE Key Responsibilities: Work closely with brand editors to create and update quality ecommerce articles – buying guides, features, news stories, and deals – according to brands’ needs, in the appropriate tone and style. Cover tentpole shopping events, including Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, with advance content creation and real-time coverage. Work with the SEO team to ensure all content is fully optimised. Write home and garden ecommerce commercial content when needed. Pitch content ideas for social and newsletter. ABOUT YOU Demonstrable expertise within home and garden verticals. Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging, original copy at pace. Experience writing revenue-driving commerce content. Experience working with PRs to get the inside scoop on new product launches. Experience using content management systems. Good working knowledge of SEO best practice. Basic knowledge of affiliate platforms. Experience using Photoshop is desirable.
