Due to our continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our Vehicle Solutions team. We offer a generous commission structure along with exceptional opportunities for progression for the right candidate
To deliver agreed annual budgeted sales through self-motivation and strategic account development. This sales role will focus on all available products in the Radius Vehicle Solutions portfolio and requires balance of individual sales actions and achievements plus development of the business via agreed working processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for delivery of an agreed quarterly and annual budget in new business
2. Develop and actively ‘work’ a pipeline through the Radius Vehicle Solutions CRM platform
3. Select and develop strategic prospects and new accounts.
4. Provide excellent customer service standards to all Radius Vehicle Solutions customers.
5. Manage nominated accounts and their associated Company and Group revenue streams
6. To prepare and implement customer specific SLAs and MI dashboards
7. Prepare sales reports, proposals in a factual, timely, consolidated and consistent manner
8. Ensuring information is presented in a beneficial, clear and positive manner.
9. To build and maintain excellent working relationships within the wider teams and supporting functions
10. Receive sales leads and follow up to conclusion
11. Familiarise oneself with the entire range of products available through the business and sell according to the prospect or customer requirements.
12. Identify market trends and patterns and incorporate these in future business strategy
13. Develop industry awareness of the Group and its expertise in the vehicle acquisition market
14. Maintain awareness of trade and economic conditions and ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate potential risk and to maximise opportunities presented
15. Prepare and submit quotations and tender responses
Technical competences:
16. A detailed understanding of vehicle leasing and rental solutions and the market space.
17. A good level of technical knowledge in relation to vehicle specification and our business specifics.
18. An ability to deliver presentations to prospects and clients.
19. An ability to identify and resolve issues. And to able to collate and analyse data - PC literate.
20. An ability to write well-articulated proposals and reports in response to clients’ needs.
21. An ability to negotiate and build strong relationships both internal and external.
22. An ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, committed to meeting deadlines (self-imposed and external), and to manage multiple requirements and demands effectively.
Key performance measures
23. Revenue and profit to agreed forecasts.
24. Accurate sales pipeline forecasts.
25. Management of the prospect data base and client folders.
26. Completion and maintenance of an effective ‘Fact Find’ document for each prospect.
27. Activity and Task KPI.
28. Outstanding quote management KPIs.
29. Effective diary and time management.
About You
You have a stable employment record within the vehicle contract hire/leasing/rental industry, demonstrating you can deliver against new business targets. Your follow-up of leads is energetic and disciplined but you are also someone who can prospect by proactive networking and picking up a telephone to generate well-qualified appointments.
Experience and qualifications:
30. Automotive experience
31. Results orientated with proven experience of delivering on agreed quarterly targets.
32. Customer service ethos with experience of succeeding in improving or delivering to the highest standards.
33. Ability to prepare and deliver sales presentations to a Senior Management/Director level audience.
