Job Description:
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference? Join CrossReach as a Finance Administrator for our Older People Services and play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated team.
Your Role:
As a Finance Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of the service office. Working Monday to Thursday, 9am to 3.45pm, you will:
1. Manage all day-to-day financial matters, including processing invoices, managing petty cash, and recording income and expenditure.
2. Support the Service Manager by identifying financial issues and providing up-to-date budget information.
3. Handle personal finance matters for service users, including personal allowances and bill payments.
4. Collaborate with the Lead Finance Administrator to resolve issues of historic debt.
5. Provide administrative support, maintain efficient filing systems, and assist with organising meetings and events.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Has experience working with financial information and systems, with a solid understanding of financial procedures.
2. Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
3. Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. Can work autonomously and meet agreed deadlines.
5. Has a warm, friendly manner and a professional attitude when interacting with service users, staff, and external agencies.
