About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated Senior Social Workers to join our Children Looked After Team in Surrey. This is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting children living with relatives, foster families, prospective adopters, and in semi-independent living arrangements. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for safeguarding these children, nurturing their development, and helping them transition to independence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regular visits and assessments to build strong, lasting relationships with children in care
2. Developing and reviewing Care Plans, championing children's voices in all aspects of their journey
3. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including health services, CAMHS, Independent Reviewing Officers, and family support workers
4. Participating in reflective supervision and professional development sessions to enhance your skills and support your career growth
