A vacancy has arisen to work in a small specialist team undertaking Arboricultural and Forestry operations delivering a comprehensive service for the full range of arboricultural requirements to maintain public parks, open spaces, landscaped areas, sports fields, country parks, cemeteries, and general open spaces including urban tree and woodland maintenance.
Candidates should be trained and experienced arborists, carrying out all types of arboricultural operations. They will require to have a full driving license, ideally with category C1.
They should have passed the following essential NPTC training units, or equivalent.
201, 202, 203, 205, 206, 301, 302, 306, 307, 308, 309 and a woodchipper certificate of competence. A stump grinder certificate of competence and an IPAF certificate for working from a MEWP.
An SQV level 2 would also be preferred.
