We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual with senior-level expertise to lead a team of R&D Engineers in revolutionising the world of hydrogen-fuelled transportation. The Role: As a Senior R&D Engineer, you'll spearhead the development and commercialisation of hydrogen-fuelled heavy-duty vehicles and machines. We need someone with proven experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for cutting-edge technology. This role demands initiative, flexibility, and a hands-on approach to tackle challenges head-on. Key Responsibilities: Designing and installing R&D prototypes Component and system design Specifying and sourcing components Designing wiring looms and harnesses Conducting validation testing Maintaining R&D Bills of Materials (BOMs) Setting up CAN-based systems Collecting and analysing data Collaborating with internal and external teams on projects Functional Skills: Delivering technical project outputs on time Owning system specifications and component selection Defining control system requirements Building and validating prototypes Operating independently with initiative Maintaining confidentiality Willingness to travel for work Qualifications & Experience: Mandatory: Mechanical Engineering Degree or relevant industry experience 5-10 years of industry experience Ability to read and create automotive wiring diagrams Effective communication skills Mechanical and electrical integration experience Proficiency in engineering problem-solving Desired: Knowledge of engines and/or fuel cells Familiarity with electric drivetrain/high voltage systems Understanding of CAN bus systems Experience with vehicle cooling systems Proficiency in 3D CAD To Apply: If you're ready to make your mark in the world of sustainable transportation, we want to hear from you Don't miss this chance to be at the forefront of innovation.
