About the Role:
As a CNC Programmer, you will play a key role in delivering high-precision components for a variety of exciting projects. You ll use your expertise to develop and optimise CNC programmes, working closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure world-class results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop CNC programmes based on technical blueprints and design models.
* Utilise CAD/CAM software to create 3D models and efficient machining instructions (experience with SprutCAM is an advantage).
* Select appropriate tools and machine settings to meet exacting specifications.
* Conduct test runs, troubleshoot, and fine-tune programmes to ensure precision.
* Perform routine maintenance and problem-solving for CNC machinery.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
* Document programming activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
What We re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a strong understanding of CNC machining.
* Knowledge of tool selection and optimisation for efficiency and quality.
* Ability to read complex engineering drawings and translate them into actionable programmes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
* Some 5 Axis experience is essential
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* Relevant qualifications such as an HND, technical certification, or equivalent.
