Connect to your opportunity As part of this role you will be responsible for helping our Investment & Wealth Management clients to identify and implement the most appropriate and efficient testing solutions for their needs, drawing upon our wide range of expertise and experience. You will have opportunity to work with a range of top tier clients providing high quality test advisory and delivery services. This an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing team that has a unique position in the test consultancy market. Responsibilities will include:
* Executing testing for large and complex investment and wealth management transformation programme
* Providing advice to clients on testing toolsets and leveraging them effectively on engagements
* Reviewing test practices and processes and coaching the team on improvement opportunities
* Working closely alongside key stakeholders at the client, building strong and trusted relationships
* Supporting the development of client bids and proposals
Investment or wealth management industry expertise gained in complex client-facing environments, ideally with exposure to the CRD or FNZ technology suites
* Awareness of key Wealth Management industry drivers such as cloud, finance and digital transformations
* Experience in some or all; functional system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and non-functional testing including test automation
* A strong awareness of the role that testing tools play in the software development lifecycle, the types of tools available and ability to assess when it is appropriate and useful to apply them
* ISTQB certified (or equivalent)
* Test management tool expertise (e.g Xray for Jira, Zephyr, ALM)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proven technical ability combined with strong business acumen
* Acute attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environment
* Strong academic record
Additional desirable experience includes:
* A proven track record in a top-tier consultancy
* Exposure to Investment Management & Wealth industry platforms such as State Street CRD, BlackRock Aladdin, Avaloq, FNZ and Sonata
* Exposure to test automation tools
* Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks
* ISTQB certified (or equivalent)
* Experience in administering a test management tool (e.g. ALM, Xray for Jira, Zephyr)
