Shift Support Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two individuals to join the Operations team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working on a
5-shift system at our Leyland facility.
What you’ll be doing
As a Shift Support Operative, you will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of Lancashire Renewable’s activities, providing
support to various operational functions as needed. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities across multiple areas
within the organisation. As a versatile and reliable team member, you will adapt to the changing needs of the business, ensuring
the consistent and efficient delivery of services. Working in line with the organisation's policies, procedures, and safety
standards, you will maintain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness in all tasks, playing a key part in the company's
success.
What you will bring
Whilst training and development opportunities are provided and encouraged for our roles, the following skills and knowledge are
desired:
* A good standard of education.
* Strong team player, self-motivated and the capacity to work without close supervision.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within the business and with external
agencies.
* Proficiency in using various computer-based systems including Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience in data entry, recording and reporting.

Who are we?
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the
Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual
(black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable
community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
Our employees work in a variety of operations, maintenance, logistics and support roles across our two sites in Leyland and
Thornton, actively encouraging internal growth through development and training programmes.
