About this opportunity
Westmorland and Furness Council are pleased to be offering PA roles, to the Assistant Directors of the council. You will be joining a team of highly professional PA’s, based from one of our anchor offices.
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Assistant Directors in the council.
We have a number of exciting full-time opportunities available for experienced and proactive Personal Assistants, where you will play a key role in being the first point of contact for the Assistant Directors and provide direct support to their directorate within Westmorland and Furness Council.
Who we are looking for
* Diary Management
* Handling and responding to correspondence
* Making travel and hotel arrangements
* Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events
* Minute Taking and subsequent distribution of meeting papers
* Liaising with other members of staff and external parties
* Workload prioritisation and forward planning
* Supporting other PA team colleagues
* Provide a fully confidential support service when handling sensitive information
