Essential skills : Requirements Elicitation, Gap Analysis, Agile methodologies, Decision Making, Time Management, Problem Solving "We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our cross-functional Agile development team delivering EDI products. This team is dedicated to building a new cloud-native platform from the ground up. Day-to-day, the Business Analyst will work across the business, and alongside the Product Management and Development teams, bringing expert input and clarity to the ongoing development of the platform. They will build relationships with key stakeholders and work directly with customers when appropriate. The Business Analyst will use elicitation techniques to derive detailed requirements from high-level features, eliminating design ambiguity. It is expected that the Business Analyst will work closely with the UX Designer to ensure mock-ups effectively and consistently convey the required design. Collaborating with the Development team, the Business Analyst will delve into detailed requirements to ensure they are well-formed and clearly understood by all. Acting as the product owner within the Agile development team, the Business Analyst will create and manage the backlog, including epics and user stories. Additionally, they will support the team in planning quarterly deliveries. Success factors Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Skills, Experience, And Attributes Collaboration: Work across the business and alongside the Product team to provide expert input and clarity in the platform's ongoing development. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Requirement Analysis: Support the Product team by refining high-level features and requirements that define the desired functionality and acceptance criteria. UX Collaboration: Work closely with the UX team to ensure that prototypes are created consistently and simply to express the required design. Content Development: Collaborate with the content manager to ensure all help and training materials are accurately prepared. Development Team Support: Drill down into detailed requirements to ensure they are well-formed and clearly understood by all. Act as the product owner within the Agile development team, managing and prioritising the Backlog. Planning: Support the team in planning delivery every quarter and ensure regular updates on the roadmap are communicated as projects and initiatives progress. Impact Analysis: Understand the impact of designs and changes on operational/business processes and documentation. Identify and mitigate project risks. Presentation and Communication: Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively convey ideas and updates to stakeholders. Qualification 3 - 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within an Agile development environment.
