Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Efficiency, Value and Improvement (EVI) Programme Management Office (PMO) Team at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
The EVI PMO Team is a dynamic team, which is growing this year, to support the Trust in its improvement journey with key clinical, operational, quality and transformational programmes of work.
The EVI PMO Team have great ambitions and it is looking for a dynamic individual that has a passion for driving efficiency and improvements projects that will help the Trust become financially sustainable, by improving the productivity and quality of delivery of its services.

The PMO Project Manager will work as a key member of the EVI PMO Team to provide support to the Executive, leadership and management teams to improve efficiency and efficacy of our services, through a set of Trust-wide change projects.
Main duties of the job
1. To use project management methodologies, tools and techniques to support delivery of projects.
2. To aid the end-to-end management of the EVI project management lifecycle working closely with the operational teams across Care Groups and Corporate.
3. To facilitate the governance of EVI plans ensuring the PMO stage gate process is adhered to.
4. To help clinical and corporate teams to complete Project Initiation Documentation (PID).
5. To support all projects to undergo a Quality Impact Assessment (QIA) across the Trust and all follow up requirements once a project is in delivery.
6. To help complete reports for the Care Group and Corporate performance meetings.
7. Work with members of the Clinical Teams to investigate the causes of any variance from project plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
8. Management of a risk and issues tracking mechanism and the resolution and escalation processes.
9. To work closely with Senior Responsible Officers (SROs) to ensure delivery of the projects in a timely manner and ensure delivery of benefits.
10. Actively seek out opportunities to improve your own skills and knowledge and use these in a way that helps the Trust to meet its objectives.
11. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Degree level education or equivalent level of working knowledge and experience.
* PRINCE2 Qualification or equivalent.
* Evidence of continual personal development.
* P30 Qualification.
Skills
* A hands-on approach to problem solving; identifying issues and using initiative and available resources to generate recommendations.
Experience
* Considerable experience in co-ordinating project resources developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve project objectives.
* Data flow redesign and implementation.
* Proven experience of resolving urgent, project problems in a structured and consistent manner and in a way that minimises risk to systems, patients and staff.
* Experience of presenting to clients at a senior management level.
* Experience of working in a health setting with exposure to Cost improvement programme planning/delivery.
