We are one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group and have about 6,000 employees worldwide. We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operative to join our Tube Shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, and maintaining our company's commitment to excellence Tasks and Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of your own output. Execute all operations as outlined in production paperwork and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). After a basic training period, work with limited supervision. Be flexible and willing to be transferred to other areas of production as needed. Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. Maintain work areas in compliance with company housekeeping standards. Be multi-skilled to cover various production operations, including: Compound: Follow orders to weigh out powders. Mix powders. Clean down equipment. Compression and Core Mould: Follow orders to weigh powders. Set up tooling. Operate compression and core mould presses. Conduct quality checks. Clean down equipment. Post Cure: Load and unload ovens. The Ideal Candidate Experience in a manufacturing environment is favorable. Good dexterity to handle components while wearing gloves. Quality conscious with strong attention to detail. Understanding the importance of quality and its impact on the business. Good understanding of foreign object defects, their causes, and rectification methods. Ability to understand and complete paperwork accurately. Maintain standards as set by the company and follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position is based on-site at Bridgwater.
