As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across all key stages. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that all students, particularly those with additional learning needs, receive the tailored support they need to succeed. Your role will involve supporting individuals and small groups, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assisting in the delivery of lessons and interventions.
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and parents
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional learning needs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience working with children with specific SEN needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia)
* First Aid qualification
* Additional relevant training in SEN (e.g., Makaton, PECs, behaviour management)
