This role involves leading and managing the IT team to ensure the effective delivery of IT services and support across the organisation. /p p strong Key Responsibilities for the Head of IT: /strong /p ul li strong Strategic Planning: /strong Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organisations goals and objectives. Identify and recommend new technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. /li li strong Leadership and Management: /strong Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources. /li li strong Budget Management: /strong Prepare and manage the IT departments budget. Optimize resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency. /li li strong Technology Management: /strong Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT systems, and applications. Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable. /li li strong Vendor Management: /strong Establish and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. /li li strong Risk Management: /strong Identify and mitigate IT risks, including threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. /li li strong Project Management: /strong Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. /li li strong Stakeholder Engagement: /strong Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions that support business objectives. Communicate IT initiatives and performance to senior management. /li li strong Innovation: /strong Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and implement new solutions that drive business value and competitive advantage. /li /ul p strong Skills required for the Head of IT: /strong /p ul li Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
