Conifers Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, creative and highly skilled Primary teacher to join our THRIVE school for 3 days a week, to cover a Maternity post in Year 4. You will be working alongside colleagues who are all highly dedicated to improve the life outcomes of our children and who will always go the 'extra mile'.
The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner and will readily contribute to the continual improvement of teaching and learning across the school. Candidates will nurture a passionate and positive attitude to learning, be able to plan effectively to meet the needs of all groups of pupils in the class and accurately assess work across all of the core subjects. The ideal candidates will be able to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a year team, as well as collectively with staff across the school. This position is open to candidates who have a sound understanding of the Primary educational journey and who will embrace opportunities to teach across the school.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Keeping Children Safe in Education
Conifers Primary School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
