Kinetic are recruiting for a Purchasing Order Support/Administrator to work within a large, international manufacturing company based in Dukinfield. The company manufactures everyday products that are used in households and businesses throughout the UK and Europe.
This is a temporary ongoing position starting early January 2025.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the Purchase Order administration of Raw Materials: placements, confirmations & closing of orders
2. Delivery booking and updating
3. Being a liaison for internal and external customers on Purchase Ordering enquiries
4. Purchase order administration for miscellaneous items (stationery, cleaning supplies, workwear, etc.)
5. Provide cover for the rest of the team when they are not in the office
Requirements:
1. Purchasing Order experience within a manufacturing background
2. Confident telephone manner and able to converse with operators to directors
3. Able to work under pressure and manage busy periods
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
5. Excellent communication skills in English - written and oral
6. Right to work in the UK
This Purchasing support role offers:
