Early Years Support Worker - Altrincham, Trafford.
Educate GM’s partner Nursery in Altrincham, Trafford is looking for an experienced EYFS Support Worker to join their blossoming Day Nursery. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals to be part of our team. About the role:
You will play a vital role in fostering the educational and social growth of infants and young children up to the age of 5. By creating a warm, nurturing, and secure environment, you will support children in developing essential social, emotional, and behavioural skills. We are looking for a passionate person with significant experience in early years education, who can inspire young minds through engaging, age-appropriate activities and playful learning opportunities. The role may include working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Providing one-on-one or group support for children with SEND, and ensuring their needs are met.
The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence ASAP. This great role will pay £95-£105 a day, depending on experience.
The nursery provides a nurturing and welcoming environment where children take their first steps on an exciting journey of learning and discovery. Strong communication skills are crucial for this role, as you will collaborate closely with other practitioners and room leaders to support the children’s development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and may include tracking and maintaining records of each child’s progress to share with parents, creating meaningful connections with parents and carers, supporting your nursery team, and ensuring the highest standards of care are given.
To excel in this role, you will need:
• An Early Years Qualification, or be actively working towards achieving one
• Proven experience working with young children
• A background in UK schools or nurseries
• Genuine enthusiasm and a positive outlook
• A caring, patient, and nurturing personality
• Outstanding communication skills
• A deep passion for supporting children’s growth and development
• Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive learning environment

* A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, and any employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
