An exciting opportunity has arisen within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for a Psychologist working within our CommunityOffender Personality Disorder (OPD )service across East and West Lincolnshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the ongoing delivery of the core consultation and the IIRMS (Intensive Intervention Risk Management) services, offering a mix of consultation, supervision, training and time limited intervention. We would welcome applications from newly qualified psychologists with relevant experience who we will support on a 12- 24 month preceptorship programme from band 7 to 8a.
In addition to in-reach prison healthcare Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s Offender Health provides specialist treatment to individuals with personality related difficulties at HMP Whatton and HMP North Sea Camp, in addition to 2 Therapeutic Communities at HMP Gartree and HMP Dovegate (joint NHS/ HMPPS), and also offers OPD services within Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire (community provision). This position is within the Community OPD service in Nottinghamshire. We are keen to work with people who are eager to work across the Directorate. The successful applicant will be supported with Schema Therapy accreditation to support the schema informed service provision.

The successful applicant will be based within probation and work closely with Probation Practitioners to deliver a joint service. We also work in partnership with prison services, other healthcare providers and our criminal justice system partners to improve health, support justice and reduce re-offending behaviour. The Offender Health Team truly believes it can make a difference to the lives of individuals in the criminal justice system by offering consistent, equitable, high quality services to service users.
