We currently have several vacancies to join our busy team of Commercial Caterers at the Glen Pavilion, Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline and at Lochore Meadows Park Cafe. Theses posts are casual posts, working as and when required in either the Café or busy functions such as weddings and events in The Glen Pavilion. Casual Posts currently available: Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline Functions – these could be any day of the week but mainly Saturdays for Weddings and other Events. There may be additional hours in the café during the summer months. Lochside Café, Lochore Meadows The Cafe is open 7 days a week from 9.30am to 4.00pm – hours would be during this time. You will earn £12.67 per hour casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked and have access to a range of benefits, including: We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Ensuring visitors to the Glen are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and alcoholic beverages to clients and recording any payments. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate or a Personal License for any Bar work. A 2-hour mandatory course is required for all Bar workers. The Person Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous. You may be asked to work at short notice. Weekend functions can involve longer hours and late evening working. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
