City & Capital are currently supporting a fast growing & highly respected property finance lender who are on a huge growth curve, driven by strong investment & funding lines, and ambitions to be the leading player in their sector. They are keen to appoint an ambitious, career focussed and forward-thinking Internal Business Development Manager to their award-winning business development function as they target record lending numbers in the period ahead. Our client is renowned for their competitive property finance loans covering bridging, development, commercial mortgages & BTL. Our client supports the needs of property professionals, such as developers and investors, both directly, and via the buoyant broker market. The growth of their internal sales team is critical to success and this role would be a key hire into their brand-new offices in the region. As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in deal origination, flow and funding. You will actively engage directly with new and existing brokers and borrowers to seek lending requirements, whilst assisting senior BDMs with their broker activity and relationships. You will also support initial deal assessment, deal progression and closing, in a diverse but pivotal role. It is also a role that comes with opportunities to earn well, and progress. Key Responsibilities Proactively support the field-based BDMs and Lending Directors across bridging finance, development finance, and commercial term products Conduct regular calls & MS Teams meetings to existing/new brokers new to discuss pipeline deals or funding opportunities Chase terms and manage enquiries, both self-generated and in support of field-based BDMs Structure deals creatively using internal expertise and provide accurate and detailed information to underwriters Promote new products as they launch The ideal candidate for this role will have some previous experience or access to specialist property lending. This role would suit an ambitious individual who is looking for a long and rewarding career in property finance sales, and who is confident to achieve key objectives and to grow within. Required Experience & Traits: Must have previous experience within specialist property finance lending Experience of managing brokers or borrowers directly preferred An understanding of property loan structures ideal, though not essential A proven track record of achieving targets set in a sales environment Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing Happy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment Results oriented and committed to achieving targets Ambitious and keen to drive career forward within On Offer: Our client is looking at paying a basic salary up to £45k for the ideal candidate, which will be relevant to experience, as you would expect. This will be complemented by an outstanding uncapped commission potential that will assist in driving a significantly higher OTE. Happy to discuss. Salary will be complemented with access to the lenders annual discretionary bonus scheme and benefits package too, which is an additional bonus structure to the performance-based measures. This role is based in our clients brand new Manchester offices, Monday - Friday, with some requirement to travel to your patch and to events.
