About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a MP&L Order Controller to join our team in Minworth/Birmingham. The successful candidate will plan and monitor workflows, as well as material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
How you will contribute
1. Support for all operational departments with regards to packing queries
2. Understand requirements and take decisive actions
3. Ensure line down time is minimal
4. Assist in follow up of Customer concerns
5. Identify and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures.
6. Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
7. Ensure all relevant information for each project is contained within the Syncreon order book and is accurate in order to ensure all shipments can be processed without delay
8. Develop and maintain Standard Work and Quality processes to ensure a “Right First Time” product to the customer
9. Ensure that all customers required quality processes are operated in line with specification,. QCOS
10. Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
11. Timely release of packing orders to the lines in accordance with manning hours and MCD date for the build plan on the project
12. Liaising with RFU to ensure all materials due are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with the MRD date for the project

17. Administrative ability.
18. Good customer service and/or interpersonal skills.
19. High school diploma; some college is preferred.
20. Experience of order process control is essential
21. Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products, namely Excel
22. Good understanding of AOS and SAP is required
23. Proficiency in working with operations managers, staff, and hourly employees.
24. Proficiency in working with customers.
