As an Hardware QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution and reporting of test programs performed by Hardware QA in the HID PACS Business Area.

As our Hardware QA Engineer, you will support HID’s success by:
* Supporting Hardware Validation, Firmware regression and system testing, including installing and configuring hardware and software, and conducting functional testing and non-functional testing.
* Supporting and developing automated test processes (including jigs, fixtures, interfaces, and software GUIs etc) to improve the overall test efficiency and throughput of the Hardware test process.
* Contributing to the development, review, and submission of reports and other deliverables.
* Working within the Quality Assurance team for PACS Core products.
* Interpreting and carrying out a Test Plan.
* Performing tests to a given script (Manual or Automated).
* Identifying defects reliably.
* Communicating defects accurately using suitable and appropriate tools.
* Compiling and publishing a Test Report.
* Being aware of functional and non-functional testing techniques.
* Understanding a range of tools and techniques for test automation.
* Contributing to improving delivery.
* Understanding the importance of evidence-based analysis.
* Extending existing automated Test Solutions with new Test Cases.

Your Experience and Education include:
* An Engineering degree or equivalent with suitable experience.
* A minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux etc.
* Familiarity with National Instruments TestStand, LabVIEW and Gurock TestRail.
* Ability to modify test application software in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET framework.
* Interfacing with test equipment using DLLs, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, USB and serial.
* Experience with Issue Tracking Applications (JIRA) and Wiki (Confluence).
* Knowledge of Realtime Board (Miro).
