About the Role: As Reception Team Leader, youll be at the front line, ensuring our reception area operates efficiently and with the highest standards of care.You will oversee the reception team, handle a wide range of administrative tasks, and provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and residents alike.Your leadership and attention to detail will ensure that our facilities and operations are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of everyone at David Lewis. Your Key Responsibilities: Be the First Point of Contact Welcome visitors and provide clear, friendly information to all staff, residents, and guests. Manage Reception Operations Supervise reception staff, ensuring tasks such as answering calls, handling messages, maintaining office equipment, and managing car and telephone lists are completed accurately and efficiently. Health & Safety Focused Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations. You will also oversee fire alarm tests and help maintain safety records. Lead by Example Train and motivate your team, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors, residents, and staff. Support the Wider Community Assist with the coordination of room bookings, supply ordering, and support for vocational training and work experience for residents/students. What Were Looking For: We need a Reception Team Leader who is organised, approachable, and passionate about delivering excellent service. Youll be able to multitask, work with a range of people, and support the wider team with leadership and guidance. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in an administrative or reception-based role. Strong communication skills with a warm, friendly, and empathetic disposition. Leadership ability to motivate and inspire a team while maintaining high standards. IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and general office software. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. A positive attitude and a commitment to creating a caring, responsive environment for all.
