Job Description
* Handle all aspects of the purchase ledger function
* Ensure all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner
* Manage supplier queries and build strong relationships with key contacts
* Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
* Support with any audit requirements
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the finance department
* Adhere to policies and procedures in line with the not-for-profit sector regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A strong background in finance and accounting
* Experience in purchase ledger roles
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* A proactive approach to problem-solving
* A keen eye for detail, particularly in relation to financial data
* Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector
