School Receptionist Opportunity at Freshsteps Independent School
Freshsteps Independent School is a vibrant and nurturing independent alternative provision, rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED. We cater to pupils aged 5–18 years with SEMH and SEN needs, offering a highly supportive and tailored educational experience. We are excited to be recruiting a School Receptionist to join our dedicated team.
Our school has relocated to a new, purpose-built site with outstanding facilities including modern classrooms, a fully equipped sports arena, gym, library, and a therapeutic soft-play area. This provides an enriching environment for both students and staff.
Our students are referred from mainstream settings and present with a range of needs including behavioural, literacy, numeracy, speech and language, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. They are full of character and thrive in a setting that values practical, engaging, and personalised learning. We firmly believe that with the right support, every pupil can reach their full potential—and we hold high expectations for all members of our school community.
Freshsteps was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in 2017, 2020, and 2024. Inspectors highlighted that the school “inspires pupils to achieve more than what they believe they are capable of.”
