We currently have a vacancy for a Night Concierge at our Aire property in Stoke-on-Trent working 20 hours 9:30pm to 6.00am Saturday and Sunday, to be part of the Property Team and drive the performance of the service KPI's whilst contributing to the delivery of an outstanding student experience You are responsible for a number of areas, including but not limited to, statutory compliance and ensuring the condition of the property is checked on an annual basis and reported. The role requires the postholder to be competent, work with minimal direct supervision within their designated remit and to liaise with a range of internal and external contacts including suppliers and contractors. The postholder will be responsible for driving a high quality customer experience in relation to the speed and quality of the service provided to reported faults and the general condition, state and repair of the property. Key Responsibilities of a Night Concierge: Security and Safety: Patrolling: Regularly patrolling the building and surrounding areas to deter crime and identify potential hazards. CCTV Monitoring: Monitoring security cameras to detect suspicious activity and respond accordingly. Access Control: Managing access to the building and individual units, including issuing and revoking keys. Emergency Response: Handling emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or disturbances promptly and effectively. Customer Service: Inquiries and Requests: Responding to resident inquiries and requests for assistance during the night. Package Delivery: Receiving and storing packages for residents. Noise Complaints: Addressing noise complaints and disturbances. Maintenance: Minor Repairs: Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or resetting tripped circuit breakers. Building Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance issues. Administrative Tasks: Shift Reports: Preparing shift reports detailing any incidents, issues, or unusual occurrences. Key Management: Maintaining records of keys issued and returned. In order for Homes for Students to work effectively, you may be required to assist with other areas of work and therefore, you should be prepared to undertake other duties appropriate to the post, as delegated by your line manager.
