We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented temporary Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk based in South Birmingham to support our client on a short-term basis. As Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in the Finance Team, managing all aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations. Specifically your duties will include; Accounts Payable & Receivable - Manage purchase and sales ledgers, process invoices, oversee aged debtors/creditors, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate supplier and donor records. Banking & Reconciliation - Import and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Finance Administration & Compliance - Maintain supplier accounts, manage the finance inbox, and stay updated on sector developments to enhance financial operations. The most desirable applicant for the Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk will: Have demonstrable experience of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledge and Bank Reconciliations. Be available at short notice (Ideally for an immediate start). Be able to travel to the South Birmingham office full time at the begining of the contract, moving to a hybrid structure (3 days working form home).
