Are you a compassionate and skilled Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEND? Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated professional to join a highly respected special needs school in Blackburn on a supply basis. This would be a part time position, providing additional support to the school where required. There is potential for a mix of teaching and teaching assistant work, dependent on your own preference. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with a range of needs, predominantly autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential. Experience with SEND settings is highly desirable.
2. Passion for SEND: A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs and promoting their development.
3. Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods and respond effectively to diverse learning needs.
4. Enhanced DBS Check: Must hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to undergo one.
5. Strong Communication Skills: Collaborate with families, school staff, and external professionals.
