We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team in the Maidenhead office, covering the Thames Valley region. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years' experience in marketing, looking to build on their skills across the full marketing mix.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering marketing initiatives and campaigns across the Southern region, providing general marketing and administrative support to the Regional Head of Marketing. Key responsibilities include:
* Co-ordinating and developing effective marketing campaigns to support regional brand awareness and business development objectives.
* Researching and maintaining a calendar of external events and networking opportunities, promoting them internally to encourage attendance and regional engagement.
* Maintaining the regional marketing pages of the intranet to ensure they are up to date and support internal communication objectives.
* Providing support to deliver national and sector campaigns regionally.
* Supporting social media activity.
* Undertaking competitor research and reporting on findings.
Additionally, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the planning, organisation and delivery of both online and 'in-person' marketing events.
* Managing event registrations, attendee research and assisting with post-event follow-up.
* Providing support for 'in-person' events, attending where needed to manage the set up, 'meet and greet' and assist with the smooth running of the event.
The Marketing Executive will also be responsible for:
* Designing and editing marketing materials, including e-shots, PowerPoint presentations, adverts and banners to a high standard.
* Ensuring collateral is kept up to date and easily accessible.
* Providing marketing support for regional staff events and charitable activities to ensure good social media coverage and engagement.
Key skills and qualifications include:
* 1-2 years' hands-on marketing experience.
* Excellent IT skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential.
* Experience and aptitude for design.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Excellent organisation and planning skills.
* Ability to work quickly and on multiple jobs at the same time.
* Confident in dealing with people.
* Willingness to travel.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Able to manage and work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
* Team player.
