Job Description Transition Head of Service – Children & Justice Location: Headquarters, Inverness Hours: 35 hours per week Duration: 6-12 months Grade: HC15 £89,325 - £97,556 p.a. The Highland Council is seeking an inspiring and experienced leader to take on the role of Transition Head of Service – Children & Justice. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our community by shaping strategic priorities and delivering an outstanding service. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for the management of: Child Protection Corporate Parenting Fostering and Adoption Justice Looked After Children Residential Care Throughcare/Aftercare Young Carers Prevention Strategy You will deputise as Chief Social Work Officer when required. You will have significant leadership experience in a relevant field, including managing change and driving service improvements. With a proven track record in fostering collaboration, you will be a motivational team leader able to manage complex budgets and provide best value for money.
