We are an RCVS accredited practice with a reputation for having genuinely friendly and approachable managers and directors. Our practice is committed to maintaining high clinical standards, supported by extensive point-of-care diagnostics. We ensure that inpatients remain with us until they are ready for outpatient care, avoiding transfers between member practices. You’ll experience a varied and interesting caseload, working with dedicated clients who seek the best care for their pets.
There’s a seamless collaboration with a fantastic team of night vets experienced in ECC and ACAs. We offer on-site referrals in cardiology and imaging, along with visiting specialists in disciplines such as dermatology, endoscopy, and orthopaedics. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology, including CT, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and comprehensive in-house blood machines.

New Priory Vets operates a 24/7 hospital in Brighton and a branch surgery in Peacehaven. Our main hospital in Brighton offers primary care, an emergency out-of-hours (OOH) service for 13 local practices, and a mid-tier referral service specialising in surgery, laparoscopy, imaging, and cardiology.
With an excellent reputation, a dedicated team, and state-of-the-art equipment, New Priory Vets is a standout practice. We are situated in a prime location near the South Downs, in the vibrant seaside town of Brighton and Hove. Working pattern
Our team is at the heart of our mission, and we understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance to help them succeed. This full-time role offers an average of 37.5 hours spread over 4 days per week, with a rotating weekend schedule of 2 in 14. Shifts typically run between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, with TOIL provided for weekends worked. This position does not include any out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities.
