Management and recruitment of Hygiene Team; currently 5 team members to be working night shifts.
Manage working patterns and rotas to maintain sufficient Hygiene resource across all departments and
shifts, ensuring cover for holidays and absences.
Drive and implement improvement in factory and office hygiene standards and Hygiene Team
performance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Develop the hygiene improvement plan and strategy for the next 12 months.
Lead and mentor the Hygiene team, driving performance and encouraging a culture of continuous
improvement.
Own Hygiene Team training and development, including H&S, food safety, and cleaning procedures.
Regularly review cleaning schedules to ensure they are kept up to date and sufficient for maintaining
standards.
Ensure all hygiene-related records are completed and up to date.
Support in maintaining and updating the training matrix for hygiene team members.
Support the Technical Department in microbiological-related investigations.
Carry out audits and swabbing as required to verify the effectiveness of cleaning activities.
Support the Technical Department in preparing cleaning cards, cleaning schedules, and strip-off procedures.
Involvement in site preparation for BRCGS audit and customer audits.
Manage hygiene equipment, consumables, and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and usage.
Daily chemical dilution checks.
