There's an exciting opening within the Education and Childcare, Public Service sectors, Sports, and Science curriculum area to teach Midwifery as part of our new suite of T level qualifications in Health. We are seeking a candidate who has had a career/professional experience of nursing and the midwifery sector. As a specialist Lecturer, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching, learning and assessment within an established and committed team. You will have the skills to motivate students to realise their ambitions and reach their full potential. You will be enthusiastic and have a passion for your profession and be able to guide students to succeed. Applicants will hold the following: A full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (or be willing to work towards obtaining one). If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development. A degree level qualification in a related subject and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching/training and be competent at assessing students’ work. Level 2 or equivalent qualification in maths and English. Applications from candidates with a background in teaching in an FE environment would be desirable but not essential.
