Estimator II (BMS)
As an Estimator here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and competitive estimates for building management system projects. Your expertise in estimating costs, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams will ensure the successful execution of projects. You will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by delivering high-quality estimates that meet customer expectations.
You will report directly to our Estimating Manager and you'll work out of our Bracknell Office location on a hybrid work schedule, 3 days at office and 2 from home.
In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by accurately estimating costs, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate estimates will contribute to the overall success of our business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for estimates
•Review project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities
•Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals
•Participate in bid review meetings and provide input on pricing strategies
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates and bid documents

YOU MUST HAVE
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating or related roles
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent knowledge of building management systems and related technologies
•Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office
•Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
