IT Manager, Christian Charity, London, c£35 – £43k + benefits
Wonderful opportunity exists at this Evangelical Christian charity who are currently recruiting for an IT Manager to lead their small IT team and take responsibility for the IT Department and systems including the complete IT network infrastructure, all day to day processes, installation, support and maintenance, as well as purchasing of IT equipment, software and other services, either directly or through the use of third-party support providers. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining and providing IT systems & services, telecommunications systems & packages and providing a high standard of technical support for users across all of the charity sites (Head Office, Field staff & 10+ active centres across London). The role is both managerial and technical so requires hands-on skills and technical ability including expertise in Windows environments. Technical environment and responsibilities include:
* Windows 10 PCs / MS 2012 / 2016 Servers
* Networked Desktop and Multifunction Printers
* DNS / DHCP/ Active Directory / Group Policies
* NEC Phone System (VOIP & Analog)
* Network Security / SSL Certificates
* Routers / Switches / Wireless Networks
* Firewalls / Anti-Virus / Cyber Security
* MS Exchange Online / Office 365 / Azure
* Android & iOS Mobiles
* Infrastructure & Network Management
* End User Support
* System Backup cloud and on-premise
* Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
* System Hardware & Software
* New Installations and upgrades, system updates, migrations and outages
* Cyber Security Awareness
* Technical Documentation
The role requires an understanding of principles of good Christian stewardship along with spirit-led, faithful risk-taking in order to work well with key stakeholders, in accordance with the core values of the charity as it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, that the post holder will be a practising Evangelical Christian who assents to their statement of Faith. You respond well to pressure and can demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and produce work of a consistently high standard as well as having excellent communication skills.
