The successful candidate will work as a member of the administrative team to support onsite business requirements, support day-to-day functioning of the administrative services and front of house coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience working is a customer focused environment with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Key responsibilities:
Administration support for main office when required
Call handling and front of house reception duties; maintain a clear, clutter-free work space; welcome visitors; follow sign in procedures
Organise meeting rooms and arrange refreshments when required
Add Purchase Orders to the system when purchasing items and/or as requested.
Shopping for consumable supplies as required for the office
Monitor notice boards to ensure information is current
Monitor water coolers and shared spaces, ensuring good housekeeping including dishwasher/dishes are cleaned and emptied daily
Carry out general office duties, mail handling, petty cash handling, stationary orders, support fire alarm testing (weekly)
Assist with monitoring quality control of cleaning contractors and other suppliers where necessary and reporting any concerns to management.
Support colleagues with off-site travel arrangements, hotel bookings etc.
Other duties as required from time to time to meet the needs of the business
Desirable experience & personal attributes:
Proven experience in a similar role with good work ethic and customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Ability to solve problems
Full UK Driving Licence
Duration: April 2025 – September 2025
Hours of work: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch break per day); flexibility is required to accommodate business requirements.
