Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a HSE & Sustainability Consultant with sales experience at Savannah Environmental Consultancy. The consultant will be responsible for conducting health & safety, environment health and safety (EHS), and occupational health assessments, auditing processes, and implementing NEBOSH standards in compliance. The role involves working closely with clients to develop and deploy sustainability strategies, ensure environmental compliance, and manage occupational hygiene services. Qualifications Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health skills NEBOSH certification and experience in auditing Strong sales experience and client management skills Demonstrated ability to develop sustainability strategies and ensure compliance Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience in occupational hygiene services and total waste management Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field We are also looking for individuals who can display strong team-working and interpersonal skills with the confidence to interact with all different levels within a client organisation, together with the proven ability to write clear, well-articulated reports and deliver impactful presentations. Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in additional languages would also be advantageous specifically French and Dutch. We will be looking for applicants to demonstrate their experience in a variety of audit types including compliance audits, management system audits, supply chain audits, performance-enhancing audits & technical audits as well as Due Diligence. Responsibilities include: · Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business. · Perform various compliance and system audits/assessments with applicable health and safety or environmental regulatory requirements, corporate standards, or management systems. · Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings. · Provide advice and technical support as needed, connecting clients with technical guidance and training to ensure alignment with legal requirements and or business strategic plans/ with regard to HSE & Sustainability. · Develop HSE & Sustainability compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports. · Design and implement HSE & Sustainability management systems and programmes for clients. · Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. · Engaging with and pitching to stakeholders such as Heads of Sustainability, Procurement teams and Operations Directors - essentially anyone who is responsible for hiring consultants on project work · A strong team player with a proven track record in developing new business opportunities in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors · Monitoring competitor/customer/industry sector sustainability strategies, targets and requirements and incorporating these as appropriate to ensure that client's strategies meet current and future business needs.
