Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in December 2023, Rainbows Corner Children's Home is a 5 bedded Children's Home in Brampton, Rotherham that provides care, support, and nurture to up to 5 children with physical or intellectual disabilities including learning disabilities, Autism, and can display some associated behaviours. Many of our children face challenges with their communication which is supported by a dedicated staff team and the use of PECs and Makaton.
We have an established team and 5 long-term residents who are thriving. We are now looking to add to that team and are looking for caring, committed, and enthusiastic individuals who will share the same passion for children and young people.
At Rainbows Corner, it is imperative and important that our children enjoy new and varied experiences that encourage them to be the best version of themselves and that any disability is not seen as a barrier but an opportunity for inspirational outside-the-box thinking.
We hold a belief that no child should be disadvantaged and that all children are part of the community, enjoying all that this offers including celebrations and events. We are committed to breaking stigmas around disabilities and ensuring our children and others with disabilities have every opportunity to live their best lives.
We are now looking to expand our pool of Bank Support Workers to support our children and young people. Our Bank Pool does not have guaranteed or set hours but are available on an "as and when" basis to help support our children during times of staff holidays and sickness, ensuring opportunities for them to live their best lives are not negatively affected by these external factors.
